Russia launched its largest air assault on Ukraine since the start of the war, striking targets across the country with hundreds of drones, decoys, and missiles—including a direct hit on a major government building in Kyiv.

Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia used 810 aerial weapons in the attack, including at least 13 missiles. While Ukrainian defenses intercepted the majority—747 drones and four missiles—several still broke through, causing casualties and destruction in the capital and other cities. At least two people were killed, and 20 more were injured in Kyiv alone.

The most significant hit came when one of the missiles struck the Cabinet of Ministers building—a high-profile government target in central Kyiv that, until now, Russian forces had largely avoided. Fire crews and emergency responders quickly moved in as police blocked off the area. The full extent of casualties and structural damage remains unclear.

Sanctuary state and city policies have been a thorn in the side of the Trump administration since Trump resumed office in January, and the administration has been seeking legal redress in dealing with these jurisdictions. On Friday, a Biden-appointed judge dealt the Trump administration a setback by tossing a Trump administration lawsuit challenging the sanctuary policies of the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago.

The judge cited the Tenth Amendment as part of the reason for the ruling.

A federal judge has thrown out the Trump administration’s bid to force Illinois and Chicago to aid its mass deportation agenda, saying it would encroach on autonomy guaranteed to states under the Constitution.

U.S. District Judge Lindsay Jenkins concluded that the lawsuit — the first filed by the administration this year trying to upend so-called “sanctuary policies” in states and cities — was an “end-run around the Tenth Amendment,” which protects states from federal government overreach.

On Friday, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released documents showing “overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.”

The new allegation that emerges from the documents is that senior Obama officials defied existing intelligence assessments that suggested Russia had not interfered meaningfully in the 2016 election, and prepared new assessments to suggest that it had done so — “based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured i.e. the Steele Dossier or deemed as not credible,” an ODNI statement said.

After days of deliberation and an intense Israeli air campaign that paved the way, President Donald Trump ordered U.S. airstrikes to eliminate Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday night.

“We’re the only ones that have the capability to do it,” Trump said about striking Fordow on Tuesday, just hours before the attacks.

In the lead up to the strikes, the Iranian regime refused to negotiate or give up their nuclear program, despite Trump giving them extra time to come to the table.

The House of Representatives voted to pass a bill that would prohibit illegal aliens from being able to vote in elections in Washington, D.C., overturning a 2022 law.

In a 266-148 vote, the House passed H.R. 84, which would “prohibit individuals who are not citizens of the United States” from voting in elections in the nation’s capital, and would repeal the Local Resident Voting Right Amendment Act of 2022.

The bill was sponsored by Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX).

“It’s common sense,” Pfluger wrote in a post on X. “Only American citizens should be able to vote in U.S. elections!”

Phil Robertson, best known as founding the Duck Commander hunting company as showcased on the A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty,” passed away on Sunday at the age of 79.

“We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” an Instagram post by his daughter-in-law, Korie Robertson, reads.

“He reminded us often of the words of Paul, ‘you do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him,” the post continued.

“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen to the Good News of Jesus,” she added. “We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again.”
